Wes Hohman

As a sixth generation Central Florida native, Dr. Wes Hohman is committed to the health and wellness in the community.  His extensive training includes a bachelor of science in exercise and sports science from the University of Florida (UF), as well as a doctorate of chiropractic from Palmer Chiropractic College of Florida – graduating with honors from both highly regarded institutions. His time at UF included working with student athletes in the athletic training department focusing on injury prevention and performing research on the study of biomechanics through proper movement.

Dr. Hohman’s passion for athletes and their improved performance has continued throughout his career earning him an invitation to treat athletes at regional Crossfit competitions as well as The Crossfit Games.  As an avid crossfitter himself, he understands the proper techniques, mindset and strength training necessary to improve performance and applies his expertise to the athletes he treats.

Giving back to the community that afforded him so many opportunities is at the forefront of Dr. Hohman’s personal mission.  Because of his dedication to the community, he serves on the Board of Directors for Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida and is an active member of the Lake Mary Rotary and Seminole Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is also an active alumnus of Leadership Seminole Class 23 and donates his time to perform school sports physicals at several Seminole County Public Schools.

Dr. Hohman’s Lake Mary based wellness clinic, Hohman Health and Wellness, is home to chiropractic care, massage and physical therapy, genetic counseling, corporate wellness as well as nutrition counseling. The overall goal is to provide customized treatment plans which meet each individual patient’s needs – specializing in athletes, post-injury rehab, injury prevention, mobility, stability, strength conditioning and sports nutrition.

Dr. Hohman resides in Sanford, FL with his wife, Sarah, of 10 years, their four beautiful children and one black Lab named Angus.  He enjoys spending the majority of his free time doing anything with his family, including working out, swimming, watching sports, reading, traveling and attending church together.
